Welcome
Hello, I am Annie. I am a 55-year-old woman and a mum to 3 awesome adults. My life is extremely varied and sometimes I don’t know how I fit it all in, but I do!
Take a look at the different areas of my life where I hope to share my knowledge, my inspirations, my hopes, my failures, and some of my favourite things.
My wish is that you might draw inspiration from my journey, find answers, learn something, hire me or just even laugh at some of the daft things I get up to!
For digital marketing solutions, guided walks, gardening and more, my eclectic mix of services keeps my mind and body active while ensuring I get out to meet the most amazing people and share my skills and knowledge at the same time!
Enjoy!

I help businesses sell more of their product or service – learn more about the services I offer including business planning, strategy and making things happen!

Don’t be afraid to try something new
Some of the best things I’ve done have been on the other side of the fear of actually doing it in the first place.
So I try to live my life by some of these basic rules
- It’s okay not to be okay
- Never worry what someone else thinks about you
- If you tried and you failed, at least you tried! (that doesn’t really apply to skydiving though)
- You are your own worse critic – be good to yourself
- Never underestimate the power of a hug
This picture makes me smile because my friend Andy hates paddle boarding, but he gave it a shot to make me happy. And I love him for that.
Reviews
Some of the kind reviews below are from people I have helped along the way through my life. I’m as grateful for their reaction and learning as I have been from introducing and teaching them.
“I’m inspired”
I have started felt crafting since I saw some of the projects Annie has made. I didn’t even now how to start out and she gave me some great pointers
Fiona
“Faced my fears”
I took part in a tandem skydive and Annie was with me in the plane. She helped me do something I thought I’d never do! I jumped!
David
“Every day is a school day”
I’m really appreciating the quality of the tuition received by Annie in her online social media course. Now it all makes sense!

I’m excited to share a new chapter in my business journey. Along the way, I realised that what I was really offering wasn’t just marketing or design —…
A NEW SIGN on Pen Y Fan
A new sign on Pen Y Fan aims to direct walkers correctly, preventing them from heading the wrong way. While the author is typically not fond of signs, they acknowledge this one’s potential to save lives. They also request credit for a shared picture, the original author unknown.
Indian Block Printing with Cath Kidston Padgham MBE
I attended a delightful Indian Block Printing Workshop led by Cath Kidston and hosted by Charlie Dobbs Events at Ham Court. The day was filled with warm hospitality, engaging discussions, and delicious food. The atmosphere fostered creativity and friendship, making it a memorable experience that I highly recommend for anyone interested in crafting.
Harley – my 4th child
So how did this happen? It just did. He’s filled a gap that I didn’t know was empty. I take great joy in seeing him be ‘dog’ running wild in the fields and chasing a ball, finding a stick, and exploring the woods. Plus I am getting in better shape as my 10k-a-day step target…
One thing I said would never happen, happened
We got a dog! A random moment in the right place at the right time found our family the right dog! Meet Harley, half Labrador, half Cocker Spaniel – a Cockador! His parents are both working gundogs (dad Lab, mum Spaniel) He was born on July 13th and came to our home 8 weeks old…
1st December and the start of advent!
So as my nest is getting emptier and emptier I thought I’d create a virtual calendar this year! And lo and behold we have MyAdvent. It’s a clever little tool that allows you to add your own pics and text, so I found some pics from over the year of my gang and put them…
Sponsoring the smallest small
So the smallest small – my Alice Mae, plays rugby for Fairford Vixens and their 2022 season is about to get underway! Who better to ‘player sponsor’ the little shit than the mothership! She is undoubtedly the most challenging of my three offspring but in ways, you’d never imagine! To say she is a character…
This is not what normal looks like
I was in a relationship with a chap in the military for 8 years. I never really said a word to anyone about his behaviour toward me and incidents that occurred during our relationship. Back in 2018 coincidentally his first day in a new role after leaving the army and joining the TA, I discovered…
I’m a Hueligan!
So the peri-menopause body pains aches and hormone fluctuations have resulted in weight gain. I am now in a bodysuit that I don’t recognise. I don’t feel like me and I don’t like it. So change has to happen – so what have I done? – I’ve become a hueligan! Along with HIIT workouts and…
Merry Peri HRT Me
Well I gave in and raised a white flag last week and asked for help. I’ve felt tired for so long now, my joints are becoming increasingly more painful, brain fog and not feeling as ‘sharp’ as I normally feel which has been frustrating especially for other people when I tell them the same thing…
Needle Felting
It’s official I am hooked, well needled actually. Thank god for the finger guards after my first proper stint at trying to make something reasonably life like. Moving on from sheep, I tried my hand at a Barn Owl at the weekend. She is beautiful and I keep looking at her from all angles. I…
Autumn and chutney making time!
Well a good online search unearthed an easy little recipe to make my favourite chutney – Tomato and Courgette! This is quite handy as my allotment has gone crazy and I could eat courgette and marrow every day at the moment. This is the link to the recipe BBC GOOD FOOD Ingredients500ml cider vinegar or…
Tikki Bar
April 24, 2021 A lockdown project which evolved into a micro-brewery! Well the aim of the project was just to have a platform to serve beer from ( a mini bar) for our Hash House Harriers run planned for the Lechlade festival (May 2020) but due to the lockdown we ended up making something that…
A month to raise awareness
Next month is October and domestic violence awareness month. I often think the question ‘what if?’ How different would my life have been in the last 10 years at least if I had only known.. We cannot go back, and we cannot change what has been and gone and I berate myself over and over…
